Michelle Harrison

Preschool Instructor

Hello, My name is Michelle Harrison. My educational and professional journey has taken me down several rewarding paths. I earned my Bachelor of General Studies in Liberal Arts from Indiana University and attended Indiana Wesleyan University’s teacher education program for graduate studies. After spending many years as a stay-at-home mom, I worked as an elementary instructional assistant in Warren Township. I then spent seven years working in social work, where I gained valuable experience supporting children and families. I love teaching at Cougar Cubs Preschool and I feel so fortunate to be part of this wonderful school community! I am married and live in Greenfield with my husband. I am a proud mom of four children, a grandma to one granddaughter and one grandson, and a cat mom to two cats, George and Whiskers. My daughter Hunter and my grandchildren, Gracelynn and Brooks live right here in town. My son, Kyler, lives in Boulder, Colorado. My daughters Sage and Marina keep our family busy with their many activities, including soccer, cross country, track, and gymnastics. When we have free time, our family enjoys bike rides, playing lots of UNO, walking in the woods, baking, eating ice cream, and taking trips to Lake Michigan. We love spending time together and making memories, especially when a little adventure or a sweet treat is involved! I believe every child deserves to feel safe, loved, supported, and excited to learn. I look forward to creating a classroom where children can explore, discover, build friendships, develop confidence, and enjoy all the fun that comes with being a preschooler.
