Rya Pickard

Hello! My name is Rya Pickard. I graduated from Ball State University with a Secondary Education English and Language Arts License and obtained my CDA a few years later after deciding to make the BIG change from Junior High students to preschoolers! I have experience as a teacher and in various roles of leadership in early childhood education. I also have experience in leading mental health programming for adults and children. I love teaching literacy elements while leading story time along with messy art and science activities! I believe learning happens best through play and exploration!
